Laurie Chamberlin Brand President
Laurie Chamberlin is President of Special Counsel, the legal division of The Adecco Group. Comprised of sub-brands Parker + Lynch Legal, D4 and Alderson Court Reporting, Special Counsel is the leading provider of legal staffing, executive search, managed data and eDiscovery solutions in the United States. In addition to growing the business domestically, Laurie has also focused her efforts on building the Special Counsel brand on a global scale. In 2016, she opened a strategic new location in London and increased capabilities in China.
As a company business unit president, Laurie is an advocate for the growth and advancement of all The Adecco Group brands. She sits on North America’s President’s Council, provides executive sponsorship to programs such as Leader’s Edge and PRIME development programs, and was an active trainer of our Service Excellence Course.
Laurie joined Special Counsel in 1999 with nine years of litigation and case management experience in law firms. From 2006 to 2013, she moved from the legal division to the accounting and finance division where she worked with a zone as well as oversaw the national accounts team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a major in diplomacy and foreign affairs.
Laurie is an avid runner and is actively involved in Adecco’s Win4Youth initiative, which supports disadvantaged youth around the globe through physical fitness. She also participates in Lawyers Have Heart in Washington, DC, a 10k benefiting the American Heart Association. Laurie also supports Dress for Success, a not-for-profit that provides professional attire to help women thrive in work and life.
When she’s not running, Laurie enjoys spending as much time as possible with her two children, watching the Chicago Cubs and drinking Diet Coke!
