Special Counsel to require all permanent project managers to earn the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential

Jacksonville, FL (June 28, 2012) –Special Counsel, the nation’s leading provider of legal staffing and solutions announced today that all permanently hired project managers will be required to earn the CEDS credential issued by the  Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists.

“Working with ACEDS to certify our project managers ensures that we have the highest quality individuals working for us with knowledge of the law and the workflow and process experience that surrounds the review,” said Christopher Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Special Counsel. “Project management is a well-established process in many other disciplines and we are excited to work with ACEDS to bring that same structure to the legal field.”

All Special Counsel temporary project managers will be required to undergo CEDS exam training and be eligible to earn the full CEDS certification after one year of continued employment through Special Counsel.
