The team was charged with finalizing review of a large quantity of documents in less than ten days with rolling productions each day over the last three days. By coordinating with team leaders in each location, and managing team attendance at a review center open 18 hours per day, Cory was able to finish the productions on time and under budget for the client.
Cory has also managed major projects for some of the world’s largest companies’ and financial institutions’ Latin American branches. Cory speaks and reads Portuguese fluently and reads Spanish fluently. In one recent case, Cory managed a team of 20 attorneys tasked with an investigation of possible FCPA violations in the Brazilian subsidiary of a major world bank. The Portuguese review required examination of hundreds of thousands of financial documents in over six discrete phases with changes in coding instruction and review in each phase. By maintaining a core team of knowledgeable attorneys and providing regular updates including translations of key documents, Cory was able to exceed the client’s expectations throughout every phase of the project.
