Special Counsel has a commitment to diversity in all parts of our business. We are dedicated to the principles of diversity in response to rapid demographic shifts in the United States. Our objective is to recruit, hire, retain and promote the best employees and candidates. Special Counsel believes that in order to find the most qualified candidates, we must continue to utilize diversity as a required part of our search for each client. By searching as broadly as possible, and fairly considering each and every candidate, regardless of background, race, ethnicity or other difference, we find the very best candidate for every position.

Through working with minority bar associations, sponsoring events with specific non-mainstream audiences, and hands-on work with different groups and individuals, Special Counsel has matched its efforts at outreach with the goal of sourcing the most qualified candidates for our clients.

As part of our commitment, Special Counsel awards three annual scholarships to qualified minority law students. Working with the Hispanic National Bar Association Legal Education Fund, the scholarships are designed to encourage these students to attend and complete law school.
