Special Counsel is seeking 4 experienced Business Developers for representation in the following areas:



* New Orleans, Covington & Mandeville areas



* Baton Rouge & surronding areas



* Monroe & Shreveport areas



* Lafayette, Lake Charles & Alexandria areas





Four individuals will be needed, one to cover each geographic area shown above. Position responsibilities will include identifying law firm administrators and hiring partners from whom to obtain orders for attorney, paralegal, legal secretary and other similar legal-oriented positions, along with document review, deposition summarizing services and trial support services; cold & warm calling such individuals and securing meetings with them to sell such services of Special Counsel.





Qualifications



- 3+ years current/recent experience as an attorney, judge, paralegal or similar legal-oriented position within Louisiana. (If attorney, MUST be in good standing with all state bars to which one is admitted). Alternately, current or recent experience in a sales capacity with a firm or company geared toward selling a product or service specifically to law firms may be considered.



- Must currently reside within the Louisiana geographic area in which one is applying to work – relocates will not be able to be considered for this position



- Current or prior direct sales experience is highy desireable.



- Ability to work on commission only – there will initially be NO base salary or insurance benefits for any of these positions; however, commission rate is substantial, and position can be quite lucative.



- Must own reliable vehicle



- Must have strong computer skills and organizational skills



- Must have computer and ability to work from quiet home environment as base of daily operations



- Strong positive references from prior employers.





These positions may be held either as one’s primary income position, or as supplemental income for one currently engaged in another full-time or part-time position IF one’s other position is one that entails work that dovetails well with the services Special Counsel offers, i.e. if one is in the legal-specific copy business, if one sells office supplies or tech support services specifically to law firms, etc., to where applicant has an already established potential legal-specific client base.





Position involves sales & business development only – applicant will not recruit or work with candidates or fill positions, as orders will be turned over to a candidate-specific recruiter.



Compensation will consist of commission only, comprised of both substantial percentage for initial order from applicant’s landed clients upon order being filled, and ongoing residual commission on future orders filled.
