A business immigration paralegal opening in Charlotte, North Carolina is immediately available via Special Counsel. To be considered for this opportunity you must have at least an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate and 2+ years’ experience in a similar role. Experience with business immigration issues and extensive document drafting is required.
Business Immigration Paralegal Job Responsibilities
• Serve as a liaison between the law firm, staff, clients and government agencies
• Prepare and file immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applications and petitions
• Respond to requests for evidence and/or other inquiries from USCIS and other       government agencies
• Maintain knowledge of business immigration law and procedures
• Maintain proficiency in legal research and writing
• File and e-file documents as needed
• Support multiple attorneys with their research needs
• Correspond with foreign consulates
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate
• 2+ years’ experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
• Excellent drafting and research skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent references
• History of stability
• Bi-Lingual is a PLUS!
