Special Counsel is excited to be expanding into Ohio and is now recruiting for a commercial litigation paralegal job in Toledo. You must have an Associate's Degree, Bachelor’s degree, or a paralegal certificate and/or 1-2 years’ experience in a similar law firm or in-house role. Strong technical and communication skills are a must as well as an exceptional attention to detail. This opportunity entails working at a local law office.
 
Commercial Litigation Paralegal Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience working on complex business matters in state and federal court
  • Experience reviewing and mastering case files, subpoenas, discovery, trial preparation and attendance
  • Scheduling, calendaring and meeting deadlines
  • Case management and provide quality control of electronic documents
  • Paralegal may support more than one attorney

 
Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Paralegal Certificate
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint knowledge
  • Excellent references and a history of job stability
