Special Counsel is pleased to offer a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal job with a vibrant and growing law firm in Raleigh.  The ideal candidate will have substantive experience with both commercial closings and title searches.
The job responsibilities and competencies include:
• Responsible for assisting real estate attorneys with reviewing title commitments, title exception documents, and surveys
• Preparing title and survey summaries, communicating with attorneys and title agents regarding title issues and assisting with the negotiation of title insurance policy coverage
• Assisting with diligence on commercial real estate closings and conducting research on property
• Assist with transactions including drafting and compiling transaction documents, forming corporate entities, preparing closing checklists and tracking completion of checklist items; and, preparing closing binders.
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
• 5+ years of experience working in commercial real estate
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
• Salary based on experience
