A consulting firm in Washington, DC office is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Temporary Contracts Paralegal position with their busy team. In this role, you would be supporting the contracts team through a variety of ways.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Managing cases, conducting research, and preparing for and attending trial
• Liaising between clients and attorneys regarding the maintenance of corporate records
• Assisting with discovery, document production and review
• Drafting and analyzing various documents and contracts
• Utilizing various software applications and informational programs
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of previous experience, preferably with a medium to large sized firm
• Knowledge or experience with handling contracts
• Strong proofreading and editing abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail
• Excellent research skills
• Ability to multitask within a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
