Special Counsel is now recruiting for a Temporary In-House Corporate Attorney with significant corporate experience to support the internal legal team of a public-traded company located in Cleveland, Ohio.  This is a long-term, 40 hour per week assignment.

  • Conduct Due Diligence
  • Advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate governance matters
  • Advise on deal and negotiating tactics
  • Negotiate agreements, signings, public announcements and deal closings
  • Advise and negotiate various technology related contracts including software license agreements, software service agreements, consulting agreements, hardware lease and purchase agreements
  • Advise company on compliance matters such as anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws and corporate policies
  • Assist Lead International Trade Counsel


  • Admitted attorney in good standing, preferably with the Ohio Bar
  • A minimum of 3-5 years Corporate experience.
  • International experience
