Our client, a mid-sized, highly respected law firm Lexington, KY, is seeking a corporate attorney with 4+ years of experience to join the firm's busy transactional practice. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree and at least four years of substantive corporate transactional experience. If you are seeking an opportunity to work on exciting, large-scale corporate transactions and general corporate matters (formations, LLCs, operating agreements and bylaws, buy-sell agreements, etc,) in an energetic and collaborative team environment, then you could be a great fit for this position.

Job Responsibilities include:
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate governance matters
• Advise on deals and negotiating tactics
• Build strategic roadmaps for each transaction
• Negotiate agreements, signings, public announcements and deal closings
• J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of two (4) years of corporate transactional experience, preferably with a large law firm or respected corporate boutique
• Motivated Team Player
• Background in M&A, business formation and succession planning, finance experience a plus.
• License to practice in Kentucky or eligible to become licensed in the state.
