Are you a corporate attorney with strong law firm experience who loves working on complex and sophisticated transactional matters? To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree and at least two years of substantive corporate transactional experience. If you are seeking an opportunity to work on exciting, large-scale corporate transactions in an energetic and collaborative team environment, then you could be a great fit for this position.
The Corporate Associate
Job Responsibilities include:
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate governance matters
• Advise on deals and negotiating tactics
• Build strategic roadmaps for each transaction
• Negotiate agreements, signings, public announcements and deal closings
• J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of two (2) years of corporate experience, preferably with a large law firm or respected corporate boutique
• Motivated Team Player
• Background in M&A, business formation and succession planning, debt financing and equity financing.
• License to practice in Kentucky or eligible to become licensed in the state.
