Recruiting for an In-House Legal Assistant in Lake Mary, Florida. Do you have several years’ experience in corporate law, project management or working on complex contracts? Our client is a busy locally based corporation, with an active mergers & acquisitions department.  
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
• Prepare and proofread contracts and other legal documents
• Organize electronic files and maintain digital database
• Provide administrative and project management
• Advanced and confidential clerical and administrative duties
• Assists attorneys with managing litigation
• Coordinate and maintain trademark filings and domain name registrations
• Assists with preparation of board resolution and minutes
 
Qualifications:
 
• Over five years’ experience supporting a senior level attorney or in-house attorney
• Transactional experience needed
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Type 75+ wpm
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional proofreading skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Absolute confidentiality and a high degree of diplomacy required
• Team player with can-do attitude highly desired
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent certification
