Are you a Family Law Paralegal looking for your next exciting opportunity to support two attorneys in a thriving practice? Special Counsel Minneapolis has an opportunity for candidates with at least 3 years of experience.
Some of the responsibilities and duties of the Family Law Paralegal job include:
- Assist with drafting legal correspondence, documents, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, petitions, subpoenas and settlement agreements
- Interact regularly with clients. Serve as a liaison between client and attorney
- Manage information and stay up to date on case developments and deadlines in multiple cases
You might be the perfect fit in this role if you have the following:
- At least 3 years of experience in the practice of family law
- Paralegal Certificate or Legal Studies degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with document management systems
- Demonstrated ability to assess relative significance of tasks and problems to prioritize and to know when matter requires decision or guidance from assigned attorney
