One of the top litigation firms in the country is looking for a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join their downtown Houston office. This position will assist administration, paralegals, and legal secretaries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining and updating Outlook contacts, revising and editing documents, file organization, light accounting, coordinating travel and numerous other administrative responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to receive the training to move into a professional assistant or executive assistant when a position becomes available.
 
Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, have superior organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines, have excellent writing and communication skills, exercise good judgment, possess a team player attitude, and have the flexibility to work after hours when needed.
 
Qualified candidates will have a 4 year college degree and at least two years of work experience in an office environment. Recent grads welcome to apply Other requirements include a strong computer proficiency in 2007 or 2010 MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional. Must be able to lift/carry 40 lbs.
