A large national Am Law firm in Boston has an immediate need for a Foreign Filing Specialist to work in a newly established client based model.  Under this structure, you will be assigned to a specific set of clients instead of a group of attorneys.  You can really gain ownership over your role with this new position! Unlike some foreign filing specialist roles, your main focus will be on patent prosecution rather than a lot of administrative duties.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
 
• Filing international and foreign national applications and patents
• Maintaining assigned client portfolios
• Daily monitoring of foreign patent docket
• Preparing correspondence to clients for all PCT and USPTO communications
• Working side-by-side with attorneys and patent agents to support client patent prosecution matters
 
Requirements:
 
• Minimum of 5+ years of patent prosecution experience with recent foreign filing experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a busy environment
• Must be able to work well independently as well as with a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills
