Special Counsel is partnered with a large law firm in Indianapolis in need of an IP Legal Assistant.  Our client prefers at least three years’ experience in this or a similar role.  If you enjoy working in an upbeat environment, this job is for you!  
The Intellectual Property Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities Include:
• Drafting patent documents and correspondence
• Processing and docketing incoming actions
• Calendaring deadlines
• Preparing IP documents for filing with the USPTO website
• Assisting with preparing responses to Office Actions
• Requesting conflicts checks
• Assisting with patent searches
The successful candidate will possess:
• Experience with the USPTO website
• Experience with PATTSY
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Outlook and document management software
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; researching/problem-solving skills
