Announcing an opening for an Intellectual Property Paralegal job in Orlando, Florida, courtesy of Special Counsel!  Do you have three or more years’ experience working in IP in a law firm or in-house setting?  Our client is a respected company looking to add a very experienced team member to assist in their legal department.  This is a permanent position and benefits are offered.  
 
IP Paralegal Job Responsibilities:
 
• Patent and Trademark prosecution experience
• Docketing skills to support a litigation practice
• IP prosecution procedures
• State and federal court rules and discovery processes
• Utilize and maintain document management system
 
Qualifications:
 
• Three or more years’ experience in IP
• 4 year degree a plus
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word skills and strong Adobe skills
• Possess basic Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Background using an electronic document management system
