The Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Job Responsibilities:
• All aspects of trial preparation
• Taking and defending depositions
• Attending and arguing hearings in both state and Federal court
• Knowledge of all relevant law
• Writing all pre-trial and trial motions
• Transactional employment work including employer discrimination litigation, wage and hour class lawsuits, drafting EEOC position statements, conducting witness interviews and depositions, preparation and employment and severance agreements
 
Qualifications:
• At least three years of experience
• Employment litigation and counseling experience is required
• Defense and commercial litigation experience preferred
• Experience in complex commercial cases from inception to trial  
• Must have experience in trial preparation, depositions, and motion hearings in both state and Federal court
• Must have excellent research and writing skills
• Ideally large law firm experience
• Preferably experience in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, assisting clients with employment training programs, traditional labor and noncompetition litigation experience
• Must be a member of the California bar
