A Law Firm Administrator job, supporting a successful law firm in Fayetteville, NC, is now available through Special Counsel. To be considered, you must have 3+ years of HR administration and/or office management experience in a professional setting. Prior law firm administration experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Managing the administrative operations of the firm, including supervising all non-attorney personnel
  • Evaluating and managing the firm’s operating and information systems
  • Overseeing the firm’s finance functions and payroll
  • Assisting in the marketing of the firm’s legal services and client development activities
  • Evaluating, managing and supervising the facilities of the firm
  • Assisting in recruiting attorneys, training associates, training legal assistants, and improving the total quality of the practice of law for the firm’s attorneys

 
Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of HR administration and/or office management experience; law firm administration experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues
  • Flexible personality – able to roll with the punches but be assertive when necessary
