The Detroit branch is excited to be expanding to serve northwest Ohio, and is recruiting for a Legal Administrative Assistant job in Toledo. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in a law firm. Candidates must have careful attention to detail, excellent organization, and strong computer/ Microsoft Office skills.

  • Provide assistance to practice group with scheduling meetings, client calls, conference calls, appointments, depositions, trial dates
  • Type routine correspondence
  • Assist with filing, copying, scanning, organizing files
  • Redline documents as requested
  • Prepare mailings, mailing labels, packages
  • Order and organize case records, medical records, documents
  • Prepare conference rooms in advance of meetings and appointments; coordinate schedule
  • Coordinate travel, including airfare, transportation, hotel accommodations
  • Communicate with clients and courts on behalf of attorneys and paralegals


  • 1-2 years of office experience
  • Prior law firm experience is preferred
  • Customer service and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent Organization and careful attention to detail
  • Timeliness and strong attendance record
