Heather Kaufmann

Executive Director of Legal Technology NationallyIrvine, California

Heather Kaufmann is the executive director of Parker + Lynch, Legal Technology Division. Heather currently focuses on placing top-level IT professionals into full-time and contract positions with law firms nationally. Prior to joining the Parker + Lynch and Special Counsel family, Heather worked as a healthcare recruiter with various agencies, where her focus was placing registered nurses and respiratory therapists in hospital environments.

In her spare time Heather volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and has spent numerous hours working at Rebecca’s House, an eating disorder treatment program for young woman.

Sangeeta Agrawal

Sangeeta Agrawal is the executive director in Special Counsel’s Irvine, California office. Throughout her 14-year career in legal staffing, she has staffed a range of positions including attorneys, paralegals and various other support personnel in the Orange County market. She is well connected in the local legal community and has partnered with prominent law firms and in-house legal departments by providing a range of staffing services and solutions.

Prior to Special Counsel, Sangeeta worked as the adult education director for a nonprofit Arboretum in Summit, New Jersey. Before relocating to the United States, Sangeeta worked as program manager for the Australian Government’s Aid Program in India. She traveled extensively in Southeast Asia to channel aid for projects related to women in development, literacy programs and water conservation initiatives.

Sangeeta holds her Master’s Degree in English and has written several articles for a leading Indian environmental publication.

Marya Brancio, Esq.

Marya Brancio has served as the Executive Director of Special Counsel's Denver office for more than a decade. She ensures that the Denver team places top-level attorneys into full-time and contract staff positions with leading law firms and corporations.

Before joining Special Counsel in 1999, Marya served as in-house counsel for a brokerage firm and as vice president and general counsel for a public finance company. Her hands-on private practice and in-house experience allows Marya to truly understand her clients' needs and deliver the best legal professionals possible.

Marya earned her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Chrissie Hendrickson

Chrissie Hendrickson is the Regional Search Director for Special Counsel. She trains and advises internal colleagues across the country on direct hire placement best practices for legal support professionals. When a firm is in need of a top-level paralegal, legal secretary, eDiscovery specialist, patent agent, or any other type of legal support expert, the Special Counsel direct-hire team will partner with them to identify the right candidate. Chrissie's role incorporates brainstorming, strategizing, coaching and implementing solutions for Special Counsel colleagues in order to deliver the best candidates, and experience, in the legal staffing industry.

Chrissie's extensive track record of success in direct-hire staffing began in 2006. Since that time, she has recruited and placed administrative, marketing, business development, human resources and management professionals in the Washington, D.C. area.

J.J. Yapp, Esq.

J.J. Yapp is the vice president & executive director for the Washington, D.C. office of Special Counsel. J.J. joined Special Counsel in 1998 and currently manages the D.C. office. Alana Fassiotto, Esq.

Alana joined Special Counsel as a placement director in 2002 and became vice president of recruitment in 2012. She is responsible for temporary staffing placement with Special Counsel’s clients, which includes identifying, sourcing and placing contract attorneys and paralegals. In 2003 and 2004, as well as 2006-2012, Alana received the Special Counsel President’s Award for identified company high performers. Kimberly Kotek

Aida C. Rodriguez

Aida C. Rodriguez is the Regional Sales Vice President of Special Counsel's Miami, Florida office. Aida has more than 20 years of experience in the South Florida legal field and she leverages her experience to consult and provide law firms and corporate clients with talent acquisition, management and eDiscovery solutions to improve service delivery and bottom-line results. Aida is responsible for general management duties for Special Counsel's offices in South Florida and for supporting client and business development. Aida also serves as the National Chair of the company's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and works hand-in-hand with multiple diversity organizations on both the local and national levels to promote awareness and appreciation of the value of diversity and inclusion in today's global society.

Aida came to the organization with litigation and case management experience in law firms and also serves adjunct professor at Florida International University.

DeAnne Brooks

Patrick Thompson

She worked as a paralegal for Flood & Favata throughout college and law school before joining the firm as an attorney in 2009. Lisa Goldstein, Esq.

Since 2009, Lisa Goldstein has been the executive director of Special Counsel’s Philadelphia office, and she is a member of the company’s managed review team. Lisa began her career in the legal staffing industry in 1994, when she held a management position with a well-respected legal staffing provider.

Prior to joining Special Counsel, Lisa put her experience as a defense litigator and education in the field of marketing to use in the legal community. She held the position of Litigation Marketing Manager for Dechert LLP, and founded Rainmaker Trainers.

Lisa is active in the legal community. She is a past Advisor to the American Bar Association Women Rainmakers Section. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, where she chaired the Senior Lawyers Public and Professional Service Social Committee and was a member of the Vendor Selection Committee. In addition, she was a Board Member of the Lawyers' Club of Philadelphia. As a member of the Union League, Lisa is the President of the largest club table, the Benson table.

After several years in public accounting, she joined a publicly traded insurance company as an internal auditor.

Lindsey joined Special Counsel’s sister company, Accounting Principals, eight years ago. She served as a staffing manager and later as a national strategic account manager. She now serves as the executive director for the Richmond and Chesapeake Special Counsel offices.
