Our client, a national law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant for its office located in downtown Denver. This position is working for a Partner and two Associates with one being remote. The firm offers a positive and team-oriented environment and top salaries!
 
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Legal secretarial duties for attorneys who have primarily a transactional practice, as well as administrative duties, to include making travel arrangements, and heavy billing.
 
Skills and Abilities Required:
• Ability to work independently without need for frequent supervision and to exercise judgment and initiative.  Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks, both legal and administrative.
• Approximately 4+ years’ experience, preferably in a small- to mid-sized firm,
• Highly developed ability to read and write in order to proof and perform editing (e.g., punctuation, grammar, spelling).
• Advanced Word to include knowledge of Styles in Microsoft Word for formatting and creation of Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for documents.
• An intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Manage attorney calendars, contacts, and personal/firm administrative information.
• Coordinate and reserve travel; prepare travel folders for traveler inclusive of all details.
• Track and prepare expense reports; reconcile AmEx bills within short deadlines.
• Analyze materials and prepare litigation binders; maintain filing electronically.
