Legal Administrative Assistants are needed for a temporary assignment, anticipated to last about 2 months, beginning in August. If you are available for and interested in this Temporary Litigation LAA job through Special Counsel Minneapolis, we want to hear from you!
Duties of the Temporary Legal Administrative Assistant job include:
- Assist in preparation of mediation statements and exhibits
- Electronic filing of documents with courts
- Help draft and proofread pleadings and letters for attorneys as well as drafting discovery responses
- Prepare exhibits for depositions, assemble binders for mediations and motions
- Other litigation support as needed, including serving as back-up to the law firm receptionist
If you have the following experience and qualifications, you would be a great fit for this role:
- Strong attention to detail, including excellent proofreading skills
- Prior experience supporting attorneys in litigation practices
- Knowledge of and experience with binders, exhibits, and electronic filings
- Experience working in Concordance, or another document management and review platform, strongly preferred
