POSITION SUMMARY:    Responsible for providing paralegal support with respect to our corporate functions and healthcare operations in a variety of ways.  A successful paralegal would be a self-starter, quick learner, and be able to adapt.  Ideal candidates would thrive in a high volume, fast-paced organization and be able to multi-task and collaborate.
• Assist in the preparation and review of template agreements.
• Assist in preparation and tracking of various business filings.
• Assist in maintenance of corporate records, board minutes, shareholder information, stock transfers, etc.
• Provides substantive legal work in support of the organization.
• Maintenance of contract administration system, Risk and Quality reporting system, Template Library, as well as various related database and file systems
• Maintenance and tracking of litigation tasks such as Litigation Holds and Releases, Service of Process, and Record requests.
• Create and distribute ad hoc reports  
• Respond to contract and document requests
• Assist in drafting board resolutions
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.  Experience in Certent preferred.
• Able to quickly learn new technology in a fast paced environment
• Perform detailed internal audits of legal systems and databases as needed
• Train new users on systems and databases
• Assist in creating and streamlining processes to improve the overall efficiency of the department.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Strong word processing/spreadsheet computer skills required.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work overtime with little or no notice as needed.
• Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled.
• Demonstrated professionalism.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to function in a cooperative team environment
• Willingness to help out in all areas where needed
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to know, understand, and follow guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four year university or Paralegal certificate required.   
• A minimum of 5 years paralegal experience preferred.
