A permanent part-time Litigation Legal Assistant Job (flexible, 10-15 hours per week) is immediately available through Special Counsel for a boutique firm in the East Valley! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in personal injury litigation.
 
Roles and responsibilities for this Part-time Legal Administrative Assistant include:
 
•Draft, edit, and proof pleadings, correspondence, and other documentation as needed
•Electronically file court documents
•Manage calendar, including deadlines for court dates, motions, and responses
•Interact and correspond with clients
•Open new matters, including all associated tasks (run conflict checks, etc.)
•Handle all administrative duties for both attorneys, including submitting expenses, updating contacts, ensuring compliance with CLE requirements, and handling membership renewals.
 
Qualifications:
 
• Experience working in a legal setting as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary (required)
• Significant dictation experience and experience with dictation software
• Scheduling skills and experience
• Experience with e-filing
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop effective working relationships
• Strong client-service skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Very attention to detail skills
