Our client is looking to add a Patent Agent in their San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Los Angeles office, to join their growing IP team.  This is a highly regarded firm with a stellar reputation in the IP arena.  Patent Agents at this firm have an opportunity to work as part of a collegial team as they serve the IP needs of a diverse and impressive client base.  If this sounds like the kind of top level work and positive work environment you’ve been looking for, this may be the right opportunity for you.
You might be the perfect candidate if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A strong academic background with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Been admitted before the USPTO

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting Patent applications
  • Utilizing your technical knowledge to enhance the firm’s capacity to serve clients’ IP needs
  • Conducting prior art searches and analyzing and assessing patents
