The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of experience and a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or other related field.  A few things for you to consider include:
 
• The firm compensates its Associates at the Cravath level + no state income tax in Texas + lower cost of living in Houston (4th largest city in the nation) than most large-cities in the U.S.
• The firm has been recognized by a major IP publication as having a full-bodied patent practice that sets it apart from other firms.
• The firm drafts and prosecutes patent applications for cutting-edge technologies on behalf of high-tech clients ranging in size from start-ups to large public companies
• The firm’s patent prosecution lawyers have significant experience in all aspects of patent-related intellectual property law, including analyzing existing intellectual property assets, systems and distribution channels, and developing strategic plans to strengthen the protection and leveraging of clients’ creative output.
