Personal Injury Paralegal –
The Special Counsel Dallas, TX office currently has a need for a Personal Injury Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Personal Injury experience in Texas with an in-depth knowledge of case management and be experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite.
 
Responsibilities:
• Generate case summaries
• Drafting demand letters
• Tracking medical providers and ordering records and bills
• Management of litigation files, including correspondence, pleading, discovery and data
• Facilitate document management program and litigation holds
• Drafting discovery, basic motions, correspondence and subpoenas
• Preparing case timelines
• Case summarization and trial preparation
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required for the position, as well as a Paralegal certificate
• 3-5+ years’ Texas experience with a law firm or an in-house legal department
• Organizational and professional communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
