Special Counsel is now recruiting a real estate paralegal for a real estate development company.  The real estate paralegal will assist attorneys with real estate development projects as they move through all stages of development, construction and operations. The company’s projects consist of affordable and market-rate multi-family housing projects as well as occasional land development throughout the United States.

  • Attend to title and survey matters.
  • Drafting and ordering organizational documents for NRP entities for closings.
  • Drafting closing documents as needed for closings.
  • Reviewing financial commitment letters.
  • Evaluating development fee agreements.
  • Formation of new corporate entities.
  • Maintain corporate records.
  • Maintain records of financing transactions.
  • Data entry of transaction information as needed.
  • Interacting with general counsel and outside counsel in various states as well as with development staff.
  • Coordination of execution of closing and other documents by NRP Principals and affiliates.
