If so, this Part-Time Receptionist position may be a great fit for you! In this job, you would be in charge of a front desk and waiting room area within a busy downtown Washington, DC law firm. The receptionist will be responsible for the smooth operation of the front office area.
 
Daily responsibilities will include:
• Professionally administering all incoming calls and ensuring phone calls are redirected accordingly
• Recording messages where necessary and directing them to the appropriate people
• Greeting and welcoming guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
• Opening and closing the reception area (turning on/off the reception telephone system, opening and closing/locking reception doors, etc.).
• Processing conference room requests and sending notices to appropriate departments for conference room set-ups and clean-ups.  
• Tracking supplies daily in all conference rooms and notifying Office Services of any needs.
• Maintaining a neat reception area that is clutter-free and tidy
 
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• A minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in a front desk role
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal communication skills over the phone and in person
• Excellent and consistent punctuality is a must
• The ability to multitask and work under limited supervision
• A positive and customer service driven attitude
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,) preferred
• Availability to work a part-time hourly schedule
