An in-house real estate investment management company has an immediate need for a Senior Legal and Compliance Analyst to assist with matters regarding commercial real estate, leases, federal government and other contracts.  This role would be a good fit for Commercial Real Estate Paralegals. The company needs someone with exposure to ground up development contracts.  
 
This is an exciting time to join a company with a high profile and complex real estate portfolio! This position will give you the chance to work closely on a number of legal issues with the Director of Real Estate, Operations Team, and the Office of the General Counsel to provide exceptional legal support.
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Draft, negotiate, and assist with documents including commercial leases, construction/development contracts, amendments to leases, assignment agreements, lease termination agreements, confidentiality agreements, brokerage agreements, and license agreements
• Communicate with tenants regarding various matters and monitor tenant collection
• Assist with acquisition due diligence reviews including title and zoning
• Assist with real estate financing and process invoices for outside counsel
• Research various legal and compliance issues
 
Requirements:
 
• 5+ years of experience with complex real estate and contracting legal matters
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task well
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
