The New York City office of a well-known medium sized law firm is looking for a temporary trusts & estate paralegal to assist the attorneys for at least 3 months. The paralegal will be an integral member of the team and assist with matters.
 
Temporary Trusts & Estates Paralegal Job Duties:
- Assist with matters related to estate administration
- Assist with the preparation of estate and gift tax returns
- Maintain financial records for use in preparing tax returns and fiduciary accountings;
- Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of fiduciary income tax, inheritance, and estate tax returns
- Preparation and review of documents including deeds, beneficiary designation forms, change of ownership forms, company-specific account forms
- Assist with estate planning documents including but not limited to: revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies
- Correspondence
- Assist with ad hoc projects
 
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of recent experience as a trusts & estate paralegal
- Must have experience with estate administration and estate planning
- Must be willing to work the duration of the assignment
