We have an immediate need for a Temporary Trusts and Estates Legal Administrative Assistant for a 6 week period of time to cover an employee leave. This position will work in a large, prominent law firm in downtown Minneapolis beginning at the end of July.
 
Duties and responsibilities of this job include:
- File management: pulling files, opening new client files, electronic filing of documents with the courts
- Schedule management: schedule meetings, daily calendar management, alerting attorneys to upcoming meetings, helping attorneys plan for the day, reminding attorneys about which calls are due to clients that day, etc.
- Send notices for hearings to all parties
- Prepare documents for signing, witness signings
- Organize client booklets and closing letters
- Other administrative support as needed, including but not limited to: sort and deliver mail, print labels, putting items on letterhead, etc.
 
Required skills and experience:
- Previous work experience in a law firm environment supporting trusts and estates attorneys required
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a law firm
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage attorneys' calendars
- Superior technological skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
