Dear Friends and Colleagues –
Greetings to all, hope your summer is going well and that your local temperature is moderate and not in the 100s as we are experiencing regularly in the Southwest. We attempt in this issue to identify the bright spots in the legal staffing world, beginning with an article co-written by Simone Brown, Executive Director of our San Francisco branch and Erica Moore Burton, Executive Director of the Los Angeles branch. Next, we have a valuable piece from Ron Quirk, an Attorney Search Director in our Washington, D.C. office, on firms turning their attention to candidates with solid business plans. Finally, we have an article from Mark Prescott, also an Attorney Search Director, with Prescott Legal Search, a Special Counsel company acquired two years ago, on the value to clients of a great recruiter.
