Dear Friends and Colleagues –
Hello again. It appears that the economic green shoots we made mention of in a previous issue are becoming growing plants. Economic recovery seems to be just over the horizon. In this issue we have an article from Scott Bruce, Executive Director of our Dallas office, and Michael Davey, Executive Director of our Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices, on how to be prepared for the imminent future by examining the economic cycles of the past. There are numerous similarities in this economic environment, particularly in the legal marketplace, compared to downturns and rebounds of the past. Also, we have Ron Quirk, with an item on how to arm your recruiter with the sufficient information and guidelines to enable the recruiter to land the exceptional candidate for a client. Difficulties in identifying the superior candidate can be eased with a detailed review of what abilities and qualities are sought in a potential hire.
