In-House Legal Chat (@IHLChat), a monthly Twitter chat co-moderated by Special Counsel’s Sharon McLaughlin, Esq. and in-house lawyer Dan Goldman, Esq., invites you to follow along and ask questions on Twitter as they live tweet the discussion of one of the most popular annual events hosted by the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (MNACC) – the 14th Annual General Counsel Forum: GCs Unscripted!
This year, the MNACC’s General Counsel Forum will be hosted at the law offices of Stinson Leonard Street at 150 S. 5th Street, Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Those of you who are not in Minneapolis can still follow the dialogue and ask questions via Twitter!
The evening will feature an interactive discussion featuring a panel of esteemed General Counsels, including John M. Quitmeyer, Esq., Vice President and General Counsel at Honeywell Automation & Control Solutions, David H. Sampsell, Esq., Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Digi International Inc.and Jill Bollettieri, Esq., Assistant General Counsel at General Mills.
Although the event will feature an early cocktail reception that begins at 5:30pm, the live program and interactive panel discussion will not begin before 7:00pm.
Get your questions ready! The evening will be unscripted – those attending via Twitter will be able to pose their questions to and receive answers from the General Counsels via a live stream of tweets.
Attending is easy! When the live panel discussion begins, search for tweets with the hashtag #IHLChat, and you’ll be able to follow along with the panel discussion and Q&A. If you would like to ask a question, add the hashtag #IHLChat to your question to have it be part of the live stream.
Most people find it easier to use a Twitter chat tool such as tchat.io, Tweetchat, Tweetdeck, or Hoot Suite as they allow you to set up rooms or search columns with the #IHLChat hashtag, so you don’t have to keep refreshing your search on Twitter.
