Are you an experienced bankruptcy paralegal interested in a job opportunity in the Palm Beach County area? You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and proofreading documents and correspondence, including proofs of claims, various pleadings, lengthy pay history documentation, etc.; docketing using PACER; monitoring ECF e-mails for important filings; maintain the internal file tracking system; updating vendor-related software, including LPS and Vendorscape; heavy case file management; internal, external, and third party communication; preparing files and notes for hearings; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with file processing experience in a legal setting working with busy attorneys, lenders, and litigators handling proof of claim bankruptcy. Are you an organized professional with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills? 2+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience, including file processing and proof of claim bankruptcy expertise
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel). Experience with LPS, PACER, and/or Vendorscape is a big plus!
Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills
