Special Counsel is currently recruiting for a bankruptcy paralegal with creditors’ right experience.  Are you an experienced bankruptcy paralegal looking for a new opportunity?  If so, this may be the job for you.  You will be working with a dynamic team of attorneys assisting them with both secured and unsecured creditors.

Job Duties:

  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence and discovery documents
  • Arranging meetings, court hearings and depositions for the attorneys
  • Propounding discovery and gathering and organizing evidence
  • Assisting the attorneys with trial preparation
  • Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience, including creditors’ rights experience
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel) and e-filing experience
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills
