Bankruptcy Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Are you a paralegal/legal assistant with bankruptcy and receivership experience interested in an opportunity in West Palm Beach, FL? We especially want to hear from those with trustee and creditor experience! You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and proofreading documents and correspondence; filing and e-filing in state and federal courts; heavy calendaring; trial prep from beginning to end; generating banking reports on Excel; administrative and office services tasks such as making copies and scanning jobs; and other tasks as assigned. Are you an organized professional with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills? If you are someone who can handle a high volume bankruptcy desk, this is an amazing opportunity for you!

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of bankruptcy and receivership paralegal/legal assistant experience, trustee and creditor experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills
