Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

A commercial real estate paralegal job in Raleigh, NC is immediately available courtesy of Special Counsel. This position is with a large and well-respected law firm. CRE Paralegal Job Responsibilities:

  • Drafting of closing documents, including UCC financing statements, deeds, estoppel certificates, title affidavits, bill of sale and assignment leases
  • Conducting title searches and analysis
  • Ordering and analyzing surveys
  • Coordinating closing logistics and preparation of closing checklists
  • Preparing and filing organizational, amendatory and dissolution documents
  • Performing legal research related to multi-state real estate transactions
  • Coordinating post-closing activities including, recording documents, wiring funds and organizing and indexing files
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience working in a law firm supporting a sophisticated commercial real estate practice
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint proficiency
  • Excellent references
  • Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills
