Compliance Manager 

Reporting to the Director of Compliance the Manager will have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring Company policies, procedures, practices and training protocols at all times are in place and address any and all Federal, State and/or local compliance requirements.  The Manager will also have primary responsibility for the development of monitoring protocols to measure and report on compliance with such policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

  • Execute risk-based compliance activities  to ensure full compliance with all program requirements
  • Individually and, as necessary, in conjunction with outside counsel and/or other vendors, develop new and/or review and revise existing policies:
  • to ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements  
  • to ensure appropriate interactions with Company customers, potential customers and competitors
  • to ensure appropriate disciplinary policies and procedures are in place to address violations of such policies
  • Assist in the development of and delivery of live and on line compliance training
  • Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and reporting tools
  • Track monitoring metrics, trends and observations and prepare periodic reports for presentation to leadership
  • Assist with the identification, development and implementation of remediation and corrective action
  • Implement and manage systems, solutions or tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the monitoring program
  • Contribute to the risk assessment process by identifying, evaluating and prioritizing risk areas, based on prior monitoring observations as well as existing and emerging risk areas
  • Monitoring of and ensuring responsible parties are in compliance with all state licensing requirements
  • Monitoring of and ensuring continuous compliance with State licensing obligations requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 5 years of compliance, audit, legal, consulting or related professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Pricing and contracting experience, including Government Pricing, strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting monitoring and auditing activities
  • Knowledge of the laws, regulations, guidelines and codes impacting the industry
  • Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills with the ability to support customers at all levels
  • Minimal travel is required
