Are you an experienced professional with both conflicts of interest analysis experience and docketing expertise interested in a full-time, permanent opportunity in Los Angeles, CA? You will be responsible for conducting and analyzing all conflicts of interest search requests through conclusion, including new client business, pre-clearance, supplemental, clearance for lateral new hires, business development searches, and more; making recommend dations based on the results of all conflicts reports, highlighting orally or in writing potential conflicts information for review and following up for due diligence instructions; responding to all new business intake calls, emails, and requests; updating client matter information as needed; firm-wide docketing, dates, and calendar data-entry; responding to all requests regarding the calendar and docketing, as well as court rules related to litigation deadlines; ensuring proper documentation of all transactions; providing docketing troubleshooting and support to legal staff; running reports as requested; assisting with special projects; and other tasks as assigned. - 3 - 5+ years of of conflicts processing and docketing experience
- BA/BS and paralegal certification are preferred
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Aderant (or equivalent accounting software), conflicts/new matter systems, as well as docketing software
- Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proactive; strong ability to anticipate needs and follow through with excellent work product
