Special Counsel's law firm client is seeking a Conflicts & New Business Intake Analyst. This position will be responsible for analyzing and processing new business intake, conflicts and other risk management tasks. This position could grow into a manager of the entire group. Analyze and resolve conflict checks through firm database.
Review and track precise and accurate information pertaining to firm clients in our conflicts and new business intake databases.
Evaluate business intake forms for adherence to the firm’s risk practice and guidelines.
Research and evaluate client/matter security and ethical screens.
Organize various business intake requirements, and follow-up on outstanding items.
Oversee client and matter change requests, including research and analysis on risk issues.
Provide assistance and back-up to the lateral hire conflicts process.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of conflicts experience.
Proficient computer skills required (knowledge of MS Office applications preferred).
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to compile, review, and determine logical recommendations based on a variety of information.
Business writing skills as necessary to present routine business information.
Good judgment in determining when assistance is needed in communicating with attorneys on varied issues.
Excellent attention to detail and data-entry skills
