Contract Administrator
Small transportation company is looking to add an experienced contract administrator to their growing company. Contract administrator will report to controller and work closely with the CEO and CFO.
Job responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of contracts and various agreements (purchase, lease, employment, etc.), including analyzing terms and conditions, update for contract amendments.
Draft and edit board resolutions, memoranda, and other written materials, as directed.
Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions.
Work closely with Commercial team on renewals or amended agreements and act as a liaison with company attorneys. Follow up and follow through on deal matters.
Develop and maintain templates for commonly used agreements and contract documents.
Contribute to the development of terms and conditions to improve the contracting process.
Perform related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
5+ years of experience in preparing legal documents.
Notary Public certification preferred.
Experience in mortgage loan documents preferred.
Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Must be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment; able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking.
Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly-organized, resourceful, and reliable.
Experience culling and analyzing large amounts of data from numerous sources.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Ability to update and edit existing databases.
