Special Counsel is looking for a Contract Specialist in Industrial Manufacturing and Services in Camarillo California. If you are a team player with 3+ years of experience who is a go getter and enjoys this culture, then this may be a good fit for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Create, negotiate and execute contracts based on agreed templates encompassing a range of transactions which include master supply agreements, equipment loan agreements, material transfer agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements etc.
  • Create, manage, review and respond to customer terms and conditions
  • Contract management of the process to ensure the right approval channel for contractual changes based on internal delegations and change control procedures
  • Explain contracts and advise stakeholders on contractual responsibilities, work closely with relevant stakeholders to develop and improve applicable standardized forms, process, and procedures
  • Record tracking, regular reporting to senior management as well as develop and manage Contract Management Tools and procedures
  •  

    Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical and life science sectors experience is a plus
  • BA/BS is required as well as paralegal background and experience
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Comprehension of contract structure, commercial terms, risks and obligations
  • Can manage contract production to a plan and run a system of multiple contracts
  • Proficient contract drafting skills for a wide variety of commercial agreements, and follow-up of contractual changes
  • Excellent understanding of data privacy requirements and Incoterms
  • Would be a plus to understand commercial industry practices in the US and other sales regions in the world but if not, an eagerness to learn
  •  

    Skills:

  • Excellent computer skill and efficient at Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive individual who is dynamic and results driven as well as having strong skills with attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and effective communication skill that can show this ability with all business functions throughout the organization
  • Enthusiastic and self-driven qualities with the ability to manger responsivities in a timely manner
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment with supervision or independently
  •  

    Working Hours:

  • Hybrid onsite and remote
  •  

    Compensation:

  • $75,000 - $85,000
