Contracts Administrator

Special Counsel is looking to interview a Contract Administrator for a permanent opportunity with a busy local company. The ideal candidate should exhibit a high attention to detail, be a team player, and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Review executed contracts for accuracy and completion
  • Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes (e.g., FAR, DFAR) as needed or directed
  • Enter key information into contracts management database
  • Prepares RFP/RFI risk analysis. Provide risk mitigation. Acts as negotiator and liaison between disputing parties for contractual matters
  • Drafts customer correspondence, reports, and other documents pertaining to contract status and contract performance  
  • Annual and periodic reporting
  • Ensure licenses are in compliance in all locations where the company does business
  • Qualifications:

  • Background in redlining, document review, or similar
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • MBA, Masters, or JD preferred
  • Upbeat and professional
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Possess basic Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Experience: Three or more years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator or with related experience. Background or coursework in legal research or government contracts

    Employment Type: Full-time; Permanent

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week
