Contracts Administrator

Special Counsel is looking for the perfect candidate to support our client with managing contracts in relation to clinical trials. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of clinical trial agreements and subcontracts in accordance with master funding agreements and templates, as well as the negotiation and execution of a full contracts management process. Included in this will also be the creation of non-industry and vendor agreements in accordance with standard terms, conditions, and templates; codification of contracting standards; and drafting negotiation guidelines.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, with at least three (3) years in grant, contract, and/or sub award development and management, or other relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a clinical research related field.
  • Experience with budget development and management. 
  • Knowledge of OMB Circulars, Agency Grants Policy Statements, Federal Acquisition Regulation, patent and copyright law, and cost-accounting standards.
  • Knowledge and experience regarding contract development, negotiation, processes and the use of technology to support process flow.
  • Proficiency in legal and contractual terminologies and specifications in agreements.
  • Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email).

    Pay Rate: $40/hour.
