Are you an experienced contract administrator / paralegal interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity with a leading medical device company in San Diego, Ca? You will be working alongside the Pricing and Contracts team with the objective of managing capital equipment contract requirements and aligning them with corporate business objectives. You will be drafting, facilitating, and negotiating favorable terms in support of revenue & profitability objectives.
You will be drafting, reviewing, analyzing, redlining, and negotiating contracts and agreements; reducing corporate liability and minimizing risk of contract breaches; managing contract request intake processes, including proper form selection; validating contract data and activity, such as contract term and insurance validation; serving as a liasaon between internal and external teams during contract development and negotiation stages; updating and managing the contracts database; helping others access key contracts information and acting as a first point of contact for legal and compliance requests internally; assisting with finding resolutions to contract issues; reporting on contracts and contract deliverables; and more! Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing legal contracts and making recommendations based on contract analysis
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (including advanced skills with Microsoft Word specific to the redlining process)
Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification is a plus
Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a plus
Medical device and Capital Sales experience are a plus
