Corporate and Finance Legal Assistant

Are you an experienced corporate and finance legal assistant interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity with a boutique firm in Miami, FL? You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, proofreading, and redlining transactional and corporate legal documents, presentations, reports, forms, agreements, correspondence, and more; general file management; heavy calendaring and schedule management; anticipating attorney needs; and other tasks as assigned. This role also entails attorney time entry, client billing and expense report support, coordinating domestic and international travel, and other administrative tasks. In this client-facing role, you will be expected to be highly polished and professional at all times. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of corporate and finance experience experience
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • High accuracy and attention to detail when proofreading, typing, and with client billing
  • Solid organizational and time management skills and the ability to work well independently
