Corporate Paralegal (KYC experience)

Are you a Corporate Paralegal with KYC experience in the NYC Metro Area, looking for a new opportunity? Special Counsel is seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of experience for the small legal group of a hedge fund based in NYC. The Legal team works to keep the fund in good legal standing, in all of the global jurisdictions in which it operates, by ensuring compliance in corporate structuring. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will engage with internal teams and external parties. You will manage their corporate filings, complete Know-Your-Client (KYC) requests, organize bank account opening applications, and draft corporate resolutions.

The Legal team is a dynamic and deeply collaborative group. They are a team of self starters and independent thinkers who enjoy working together in a fast-paced, complex environment. And because the team is small, there is opportunity for role scope expansion as you start to make an impact.
